 Rocksplosion! recreates a rock concert experience with each of the impersonators included in the show. Before each impersonator takes the stage, a stage annoucement describes the artist, and the band kicks in with one of the artists biggest hits as the impersonator takes the stage. Depending on the artist, special effects such as confetti, balloons, or pyrotechnics (where permitted) add to the excitement and realism of the concert experience.
The Rocksplosion! backup band, which plays an integral part in the show, not only plays the music of the artist, but in many cases dons the proper attire and utilizes the proper instruments for the particular artist being portrayed. The group is made up of top performing and recording musicians, and all have major label recording and touring credits. While most tribute shows relegate the band to a barely seen, back-of-the-stage position, the
Rocksplosion! band will interact with the artist being impersonated, just as would happen in an authentic concert setting.
The finale of the show brings all the stars on stage for a finish that will leave the crowd buzzing with excitement. They will trade lines on a classic rock and roll song, and all join together for a big finish. Where else could you see Jim Morrison singing with Bruce
Springsteen, or Britney Spears sharing a mic with Ozzy
Osbourne?
Rocksplosion! takes the concept of the tribute show to a new level, replacing the tired, over-exposed Elvis impersonators with the top tribute performers of today's rock stars, from the '60s through the present day. The show recreates the rock concert setting, utilizes musicians that have played with the actual stars being portrayed, and uses state-of-the-art technology to create an exciting, vibrant experience that will bring the audience back again and again, as the line-up of stars continues to rotate.
